Youth Martial Arts
There’s simply no better way to give your child a well-rounded foundation than with our Youth Martial Arts training! At SBG NorCal we have combined the best aspects of self defense, physical fitness, mental development, and social skill building to help your child thrive.​
We offer Youth Martial Arts classes for ages 3-17 years:

Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a core delivery system for anyone interested in learning a martial art for self defense. We believe the fundamentals that work for fighting are also the foundation for the sport. The class curriculum is systematically presented to ensure that every member is steadily and safely progressing and developing a well rounded understanding of the fundamentals.

You don’t have to “be in shape” to enjoy our classes, they are beginner friendly. You will walk out of class feeling energized by the skills you’ve learned. Come in and start your journey!
Kickboxing
Whether it’s for sport or self defense, striking is a cornerstone for martial arts. In our KickBoxing / Muay Thai program you’ll learn how to strike with and defend against feet, fists, elbows and knees. You’ll learn how to control the clinch to deliver blows and execute takedowns. Our classes are closely supervised and designed with safety in mind. Members are gradually introduced to the skills they can apply in sparring drills.
This class will get your heart pumping with a whole body workout. You’ll gain competence and confidence as you improve your skills and fitness!
Boxing Bootcamp
Learn the best striking skills today and combine them with a total-body workout that will leave you feeling fitter and stronger than ever before! Our Boxing BootCamp is part of SBG NorCal’s Striking Program and offers beginners and experienced athletes alike a chance to push themselves with high-energy workouts and effective self-defense skills.

Boxing BootCamp is structured for participants to go their own speed. Challenge yourself and learn to strike with your fists, feet, elbows, and knees while getting a great workout.
Fitness 101
Starting one's fitness journey can seem like a daunting task. Where do you start? What exercises are safe at your level? How do you develop a fitness plan?

To simplify this, our primary focus with Fitness 101 are strength and mobility. These are the two aspects that we find people are often most confused about and also require the most coaching to achieve improvements safely. All classes are self paced and beginner friendly! Members are encouraged and nudged along by our knowledgeable coaches who have your goals in mind.
